Verlasso is the first farmed raised salmon to be approved by the Monterey Bay Aquarium as a “Good Alternative”. The salmon are raised in expansive ocean “neighborhoods”, where the open water pens contain substantially fewer fish to balance the needs of the surrounding ecosystem. The salmon’s ocean home is pollutant-free and the harvest of fish is always done humanely.
