Anna’s Hot Smoked Atlantic Salmon
We are excited to introduce Anna’s seafood to our smoked product line. These products are all custom smoked with a simple but delicious blend of ingredients. Starting with fresh Atlantic Salmon, the fish is first brined with salt and brown sugar and is then smoked with hickory and apple. The name hot smoked salmon refers to the method of smoking which involves high temperatures yielding a smoky-sweet flavor and flaky texture similar to cooked salmon. Perfect on toast accompanied with cream cheese and capers or with an egg benedict.
We are proud to work with the local company Anna’s Seafood to custom smoke this product. The Monterey Seafood Watch Program rates this Atlantic salmon as a ‘Good Alternative’.
